The County of San Diego has successfully awarded over $172M on behalf of over 18,800 households during the pandemic through the Emergency Rent and Utilities Assistance Program (ERAP). Although the County is continuing to process thousands of applications that have been submitted and assigned for review, funding is limited and the demand for assistance is high. Therefore, the County’s application portal will no longer be available after March 31st, 2022.
As of April 1st, 2022, the County’s Emergency Rental Assistance Program application is no longer available for new applications, reapplications, and recertifications. The County’s ERAP will no longer provide rent and utility assistance for the month of April 2022 and beyond. All already submitted applications are subject to funding availability.
Please note:
- Only submitted applications will be considered for assignment.
- Applications are assigned for review based on prioritization categories, subject to funding availability.
